Since 1996, a group of parishioners has organized to reach out to unhoused people in a variety of ways, including hosting an overnight shelter for older men served by the St. Martin de Porres shelter on the waterfront. Typically this program takes place in our social hall three nights a week from October through March.
This year, because of COVID-19, we are working with Catholic Community Services of Western Washington to provide nutritious lunches to individuals temporarily housed at the Holiday Inn downtown.
