Since 1996, a group of parishioners has organized to reach out to unhoused people in a variety of ways, including hosting an overnight shelter for older men served by the St. Martin de Porres shelter on the waterfront. Typically this program takes place in our social hall three nights a week from October through March.

The Immigration and Refugee Committee works to educate ourselves and the greater parish community about issues concerning immigrants and refugees, and to develop activities to help those vulnerable populations in our neighborhood. We work in conjunction with other faith and community organizations which share our values of inclusion, welcoming the stranger, and brotherhood/sisterhood.
