St. Therese Catholic Academy

Founded in 1927, St. Therese Catholic Academy is a Catholic elementary and middle school located in the heart of Seattle's Madrona neighborhood.  The students and staff reflect the rich racial, ethnic, socio-economic and religious diversity of the urban community in which the school resides.

“The mission of St. Therese Catholic Academy is to ignite the minds, dreams, and faith of our students and prepare them to excel academically, socially, and spiritually in high school, college, and beyond.”

As an integral part of the parish, the school is under the care of the Pastor. In its day-to-day operations, St. Therese Catholic Academy is led by its principal, Mr. Matt deBoer.  Both the principal and pastor are guided on planning, policy, and budgetary matters by the School Commission whose members are drawn from school parents, parishioners, and community members with particular expertise or concern for the school’s mission.
