Social Justice Commission

The purpose of the Social Justice Commission is to assist the parish in the promotion and implementation of Catholic Social teaching. The commission assists the pastor “to foster works through which the spirit of the gospel is promoted, even that which pertains to social justice”. Role includes assisting the parish to be a witness of charity and justice to the larger community; ensuring education of staff, consultative groups, and parish at large regarding Catholic social teaching; engaging in strategic planning, policy development and recommendation in the area of Catholic social teaching in response to parish priorities and goals; serving as a liaison to affiliated archdiocesan initiatives.

The Social Justice Commission exists to act as leaven for the St. Therese Parish in becoming a more just community and a community for justice.  Read our mission statement.
